The Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS) is a SBC Brazilian symposium which brings together researchers, students and professionals with a wide range of interests in component-based software engineering, software architectures, and software reuse.

Although this symposium is the youngest member of the CBSoft conference, reaching the 7th edition in 2013, it is the successor of a series of six workshops (Brazilian Workshop on Component-Based Development – WDBC) started in 2001.

Among workshops and symposia, its ten previous editions has contributed to its consolidation in the national scientific calendar as an important scientific-technical event in the software area.SBCARS 2013 will include the following specific activities, further than the CBSoft general activities:

  • Keyonotes
  • Technical Sessions
